SeekTRU is committed to providing quality services to you and this policy outlines our ongoing obligations to you in respect of how we manage your Personal Information.

2. What is Personal Information and why do we collect it?
Personal Information is information or an opinion that identifies an individual. Examples of Personal Information we collect includes names, email addresses and phone numbers.
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as your name, email address, phone number and schools you associate with your account when you register for an account.
We collect your Personal Information for the primary purpose of providing our services to you, providing information to our marketing. We may also use your Personal Information for secondary purposes closely related to the primary purpose, in circumstances where you would reasonably expect such use or disclosure. You may unsubscribe from our mailing/marketing lists at any time by contacting us in writing.
When we collect Personal Information we will, where appropriate and where possible, explain to you why we are collecting the information and how we plan to use it.
3. Sensitive Information
Sensitive information is defined in the Privacy Act to include information or opinion about such things as an individual's racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, membership of a political association, religious or philosophical beliefs, membership of a trade union or other professional body, criminal record or health information.
We do not collect any sensitive information.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with schools participating in the SeekTRU program for the purpose of reuniting lost items with their owners.
5. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized or unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction, or damage.
6. Data Storage
We try to store as much data possible within Australia, however, as we utilise Google’s Firebase services for application development and management, authentication data is stored by Google globally to provide highest level of confidentiality and reliability.
1. Google storage globally – Authentication information, such as email address and passwords. 2. Australia – All other personal information such as first and last name.
We do not collect any other personal information in a bid to minimise the data risk..

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. You may also have the right to restrict or object to certain processing of your data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

SeekTRU provides a lost and found management system for schools and parents. Our service allows users to generate unique codes for items and facilitates the process of reuniting lost items with their owners.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify SeekTRU of any unauthorized use of your account.
4. Code Generation and Usage
Users may generate unique codes for their items. These codes are for personal use only and should not be shared or transferred to others. SeekTRU is not responsible for any misuse of codes.
5. School Participation
Schools participating in the SeekTRU program agree to use the service responsibly and in accordance with their own policies and procedures for handling lost and found items.
6. Limitation of Liability
SeekTRU is not responsible for lost items or the failure to recover lost items. Our service is provided "as is" without any guarantees or warranties.
7. Modifications to Service
SeekTRU reserves the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the service.
