SeekTRU is an innovative application that helps with managing the Lost and Found processes at institutions like Schools, coaching centers, training centers and other learning centers kids attend.
SeekTRU is available for Andoird as well as Apple devices. SeekTRU can be downloaded through Google Play for Android and Apple app store for Apple devices.
We only collect user (parents/ carers) account creation information, such as Preferred name, email address, association to school and phone number.
No kids information is required for this application. We do not collect any information about kids.
We only collect information about parents and carers that is directly provided to us by account owners. We do not source the information from any other sources.
Yes. To get started you will require to download the app, however, you have the option of receiving notifications through sms only. If that works for you, you can delete the app after you have registered through the app and have created a Tracker.

In this case, you will not receive app push notifications, but you will still receive sms notifications.

To renew or modify your subscriptions/ account, you can again download the app and delete once done. Simple.
Yes. If you are lucky enough that your kid has stopped losing their stuff and/ or they have grown up and are out of school or you just do not require our services anymore, you can always delete your account.
Your information will be retained for the duration as per the Australian guidelines and will be deleted thereafter.
A Tracker is a unique alphanumeric code that you generate and then use on kids clothing and belongings. This Tracker can be scanned by your school to send you a notification to let you know an item has been received at Lost and Found.
You will create a Tracker for yourself through the SeekTRU app, that you can then use on all your kids' belongings and clothing.
Yes. Validity of Tracker is defined by “School Terms”. Tracker is only valid for the duration of Terms you subscribed for. You will get a notification nearing your subscription expiration. You can then extend your subscription based on your needs.
Your tracker will remain the same if you extend the subscription. In case the subscription expires, the same Tracker can still be activated as long as the Tracker is not disabled/ deleted by you.
Your Tracker code will be visible within the app. If you deleted the app, please download and log in to view the Tracker.
Only institutional accounts can scan the Trackers. All other accounts do not have the ability to scan the Tracker. Institutional accounts are accounts provided to institutions, such as Schools, Learning centers, Play Centers, etc.
The notification will have the place of scan mentioned.
No. We do not charge for scans/ notifications.
We are actively onboarding learning centers outside schools onto the SeekTRU platform. You can send us the list of centers you would like to use the Tracker at and we will reach out to the centers to onboard them.

We will very soon put the list up for all institutions where SeekTRU can be used.
As many as you want, however, we think a single tracker per family should be enough in most cases.
As far as they go to the same school or schools that are already onboarded onto SeekTRU, yes, the same Tracker can be used for multiple kids. No additional cost will be incurred.
This is an Australia-based app, developed locally.
Authentication (login) related data is stored in the USA (through Google) and the rest of the data is stored in Australia (through Google).
You can cancel your subscription and the subscription will remain active till the original end date of the subscription. Unfortunately, we cannot do refunds just yet. We will add that feature in near future.
When the subscription is about to expire, you will receive notifications from us alerting the expiring subscription. Even after the subscription expires, we offer a grace period, in which if your item gets scanned, you still receive the notification. Once you are out of the grace period, you will stop receiving the notifications.
Notifications are instant, depending on the quality of your mobile reception service.
You can opt for receiving sms notifications as well.
Items scanned will be kept separate from items without code at your Lost and Found. Please locate the area where “scanned” items are placed. If you still cannot find the item and/or the area where scanned items are placed, please reach out to School Admin staff.

To delete account follow the steps below:

Login to your account, go to 'settings', click on 'delete account' and confirm.

Please note, we will retain the tracker ID and account information until the tracker is active, so you can re-enable the account if change of mind. After that all information will be deleted.
